Joint Problems
Arthritis is a condition that produces pain at the joints. In
the most common cases, it is either an autoimmune
disorder (Osteoarthritis) or occurs when the cartilage
lining the surfaces of the joints wear out (Rheumatoid
arthritis). Arthritis causes the joints to swell, resulting in
pain and stiffness, loss of range of motion especially in
the hands, feet, hips and spine.
The holistic approach of chiropractic care focuses on
relieving pressure along the joints to help increase the
range of motion, helping to relieve pain and pressure
buildup along the joints.
With chiropractic care, treatments enable the body to
improve the range of motion with fewer
restrictions.
Chiropractic care also focuses on lifestyle adjustments to
focus on overall health to reduce pain and help
eliminate the need for pain medications. Some of these
treatments may include: exercise, massage therapy,
weight loss and other alternatives to address
accompanying arthritis issues.
